SPONSORSHIP POLICY
Sponsorship Request Guideline
The Orlando Regional REALTOR Foundation (ORRF) is committed to supporting events that align with our mission and core initiatives, including affordable housing, disaster relief, environmental causes, and education. The following guidelines outline the process and criteria for submitting sponsorship proposals to the Foundation.
1. Sponsorship Request Submission
-
Method of Submission: All sponsorship requests must be submitted online via the Foundation's portal.
-
Deadlines:
-
May 1 for events held between July 1 – December 31.
-
October 31 for events held between January 1 – June 30.
-
Late submissions will not be considered, and early submissions are encouraged to allow ample time for review.
2. Review Process
-
Initial Review: All submissions will be reviewed by the ORRF Advisory Committee. The committee will assess the alignment of the event with ORRF’s mission and make recommendations to the Board of Trustees for final approval.
-
Board Decision: Final approval of sponsorships will be determined by the Board of Trustees.
3. Qualifying Criteria for Sponsorship
To qualify for sponsorship, the event must meet at least one of the following Foundation initiatives:
-
Affordable or Attainable Housing
-
Disaster Relief (post-weather event)
-
Environmental Causes
-
Education
Events must clearly articulate how the requested sponsorship will further one or more of these initiatives.
4. Sponsorship Funding Guidelines
-
Sponsorship Requests Under $1,000: Individual event tickets with a total request under $1,000 still require the submission of the appropriate forms but do not need to go through the formal review process by the Advisory Committee. These requests may be approved directly by the Executive Director.
-
Sponsorship Requests Over $2,000: Proposals requesting more than $2,000 will be carefully considered but may likely be rejected unless there is a clearly defined Return On Investment (ROI) for ORRF. Sponsorship proposals must provide a detailed breakdown of the benefits and their respective value to ORRF.
-
For example:
-
Social media promotion (e.g., 5 custom posts with an estimated 1 million views).
-
Event tickets, banner placements, speaking opportunities, media coverage, etc.
